Dr. Barta incorporates what she knows about brain functioning to help people better understand why some things are more difficult than others, what they need to move forward, and to "depersonalize" challenges.
Areas of expertise include neuropsychological evaluations, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and play-based practices. Dr. Barta is certified to administer the ADOS-2, known as the "gold standard" in Autism based assessment for ages 2+. She is a School Psychologist by training, understands school systems, and how to navigate this complicated jargon.
Dr. Barta enjoys providing trainings and supervision for school systems improving their behavioral supports and responses. In her free time, Dr. Barta enjoys creating art, road trips, and playing competitive Skee-Ball.
